Good question. I've only seen the sort you'd blot off with a clean rag. I suppose if there were lots, you'd call the vet. I sort of had the idea it would compare to trimming the toenails of a parrot or a dog. If you keep them short, no problem, if they grow long, then bleeding in varying amounts. Nancy
