Although it might sound confusing , your best place to get plugins is in 
http://www.monitoringexchange.org/ .
This site is a place where many contribute plugins for nagios ( and 
hence compatible for Icinga) .

each plugin is a bit different so read the guidelines of each one and 
that should help .
