HI,
I have downloaded this nagios plugin to help me identify load, mem
utilization and interface status. I've tried using the plugin by
running thecommand ./check_snmp_cisco_ifstatus.
It is giving me the following error:
*Can't locate Net/SNMP.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread-multi

at ./check_snmp_cisco_ifstatus line 26.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./check_snmp_cisco_ifstatus line 26.*
The compilation error resides in the following:
use lib qw ( /usr/local/nagios/lib ); -- What do path do I have to
change for this ?
use Net::SNMP; --> I have installed : net-snmp net-snmp-utils
net-snmp-devel
sort of having a configure checking for dependencies would be nice, but
that makes more sense in case you bundle all those plugins together.
Then the error message could be translated into sth more telling.
Hope someone can help me identify what's the error
Regards,
Pete

Although it might sound confusing , your best place to get plugins
is in
http://www.monitoringexchange.org/ .
This site is a place where many contribute plugins for nagios ( and
hence compatible for Icinga) .
and as a start - try this page :
http://www.monitoringexchange.org/search?query=cisco
each plugin is a bit different so read the guidelines of each one and
that should help .
