checkmk supports trending of disk space increase/decrease. and afaik somehow alerting on those trends then too.
I would like to know when someone pushes more than a few gigs of data to a server within a period of a couple of hours. Today I received alerts because one of my servers was within the last 20% of disk space and since I have alerts set to go every 15 minutes, we could see the rapid loss of drive space at the bottom of each alert.
