"Rig-up with Ronstan" Ronstan's College Sailing Weekend March 18-19, 2006
The Intercollegiate Sailing Association and Ronstan International join forces for the "Rig-up with Ronstan" weekend March 18-19, 2006. Longtime ICSA sponsor Ronstan moves to support college sailing at two premier college regattas, the Truxton Umstead at the Naval Academy and the St. Mary's Women's Intersectional. The "Trux" features 20 teams from the seven ICSA conferences competing in four divisions (FJ, 420, Laser, and Laser Radial). While the St. Mary's Women's can have up to 18 teams in two divisions of FJs. Both the regattas are considered to have the greatest competitive depth for the spring collegiate season. Intercollegiate Regattas are often very Spartan affairs; these Ronstan sponsored events will be the exception with coffee, pastries, and more for the competitors and coaches. On Saturday morning the Rig-up with Ronstan party will be at the Naval Academy, and Sunday morning Ronstan will be onsite with the goodies in St. Mary's. Ronstan's East Coast Sales Representative, Ben Moon, will be on hand to meet the sailors and give away Ronstan gear to the sailors.
