FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Another perfect day at Eckerd College. Sailors started racing
promptly at 10:15am in a SE breeze of 10 knots which gradually shifted to
a SW breeze building to 15 knots in the early afternoon. 8 races in both
A and B Division were completed before racing concluded at 4:30pm. No
protests or breakdowns. Conditions varied throughout the day on the back
side of Indian Key, from flat water to powerboat chop and an incoming tidal
current. Temps were in the low 80's and a few left with sunburns.
Thanks to Matt Gove (PRO), Tina Irwin, DJ Driscoll, Zach Mason and Andrew
Keane for running races and giving up their Saturday.
Congrats to Eckerd College Varsity for winning the event.
