The Kings Point North #1 qualifier was wet and WILD! After a brief competitors
meeting the teams started the day sailing modified trapezoids in an 8-10mph
oscillating breeze from the S-SW. Only 2 sets were completed before lunch due
to some major wind shifts as it clocked slowly to the west.
At lunch the competitors were witness to a cold front as 40-45mph winds from
the west battered the sailing center for 15 minutes.
After lunch in a very unstable 8-15mph west - northwesterly, 3 ½ sets were
completed as A and B divisions were able to rotate into 420s and FJs
respectively for 1 race. 1 breakdown was awarded.
Tomorrows forecast is for similar breeze from the North - Northwest.
