REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Mixed bag of weather, but mainly sunny with temps near 70 (at the start of
the day). A cold front dropped through mid afternoon bringing rain, some
serious excitement (40 knots) and some nasty conditions. Wind SW 8-15 with
a 40+ squall line in afternoon. After front went through, wind settled on
west at 4-10. BU FJ fleet capsized during the squall, and the techs surged
out of the water. A rainbow over Boston capped the day.
Saturday:
4 Divisions: MIT FJs, Techs, Harvard Lark, BU FJs
Two circles - W/L twice around with leeward gate.
No protests. 2 Requests for redress
Great volunteer help from all 3 schools.
