Saturday: Breeze started off steady from the North and died just in
time to start race 1-A. After a brief delay a solid southerly filled
which clocked to the east and eventually settling from the southwest.
In all 10 races in both A and B division were sailed in very shifty,
puffy conditions. The wind ranged from 5-15 knots at times generally
around 8 knots. Courses sailed were Modified Trapezoid, Course 4 and
Course 5. Thank you to the Coast Guard Cadets for running great races
and dealing with the trying conditions. Thanks also to our Judges Greg
Hall and George Crocker who issued 5 warnings and heard numerous
protests resulting a few redress and DSQ's. With the forcast for winds
out of the East tomorrow it should be another interesting day on the
Thames River. BTTWBJ
