8 Schools entered the 2006 McMillan Cup sailed aboard Navy 44 sloops in
Annapolis this weekend.  

 

The Race Committee ran 4 races averaging 3 - 4 miles in length in shifty
northwesterly breeze that built as high as 16 knots, but stayed mostly in
the 7 - 10 knot range.

 

Navy displayed consistent form posting a 1,2,1,1 to firmly hold the lead.

NY Maritime  2,3,7,4

URI  4,3,7,5

Coast Guard  5,5,5,6

Maine Maritime  8,6,2,7

Mass Maritime  7,8,8,8
