REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: The top freshmen teams in college sailing were greeted by beautiful
weather and N/NW winds of 4-9 knots. Conditions were very shifty and
challenging and kept the racing extremely close except for Boston College who
mastered the first day and has a 24 point lead. Courses were Gold Cups and
Triangle/Windwards. One protest filed resulting in a DSQ for Tufts. Thanks to
judges Jen Bauer (Brown '06), Evan Freedman (Brown '06), and Avram Robbins
(Brown '04.5) for keeping a close eye on the racing. Thanks as well to Brown
sailors Ben Siegal '08 and Keith Hankins '08 for helping out.
