FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
SATURDAY Cloudy skies and light drizzle greeted the eight teams racing at
USF Women's Intersectional. Winds were perfect, from the north at 10 to 15
knots, with just enough wave action for some good rides. Nine races were
completed in each division, all Gold Cups, averaging 17 minutes.
SUNDAY Sunny skies, temps near 70, winds 8 to 12 knots. Modified trapezoids
and windward-leewards sailed for the remaining 7 races, averaging 18 mins.
Thanks to UC Irvine, Texas, and BC for making this an Intersectional,
and to all the SAISA schools who participated. Thanks to coaches from
Charleston and BC for their assistance on the water, to USF alum Andrew
Blom, and to USF team member Dave Weaks.
Congrats to College of Charleston freshmen women sailors who continued
their winning streak.
