FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Sailors arrived to cloudy and cool conditions, which only went
down hill with rain and drizzle late in the afternoon. Winds were steady
with a N-NE direction at 12-18 mph all day long. PRO Matt Gove ran 8 races
in each division with courses all Gold Cups and a Triangle/Windward. Races
averaged 16-18 minutes. No breakdowns or protests were filed. Thanks to
EC-SAR for coming to pick up the cold sailors for the ride in.
Sunday: Beautiful day of sailing. Sunny skies, temps in the 70's which all
of the Northern teams loved. Wind started light and fluky in the morning
and built to a steady 15 from the west/northwest. 6 races in each division
were sailed on Gold Cups and Triangle/Windward. No breakdowns or protests
were filed. Thanks to Matt Gove, Lily Prellezo, Spencer Verney, Chris
Armstrong for their RC efforts.
