Highlights:
Saturday - Competitors showed up to clearing skies and a decent west/southwest
breeze at 5-10 knots. Lots of general recalls with current pushing everyone
over. Shifty conditions on course 4's (Triangle/Windward), course 5's (Gold
Cups), W3's (Windward/Leeward/Windward), and W4's. On the W course, offsets
and leeward gates were used. Longer length courses were sailed, 15-22 minutes
in length. One protest resulting in a DSQ for NY Maritime. No breakdowns.
Brown and Tufts lead for the Atlantic Coast Dinghy Champ spots from NEISA
(Boston College and Yale already qualified). Boston College is off to a
commanding lead. Good forecast for tomorrow.
