FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Cloudy skies cleared partway through the day and a shifty
North-northwest wind blew at 10-15 knots. Currents were a modest .5 to
1.5 knots and switched during the day. Eight races were sailed in
A-division and 6 in B. Courses sailed were double windward leewards and
double windward leewards with a finish to weather. Two protests were
filed resulting in a DSQ in race 2A.
Sunday: Conditions similar to Saturday, except with a gorgeous blue sky.
Five races were sailed in A and seven in B. Two protests resulted in
one DSQ in race 7A.
Thanks are due to the sailors from NY Maritime who put on an excellent
regatta.
