7 Races were sailed in 2-8 knots from the ESE. The rain come in waves and at
times the Sailors had to us government buoy gongs to find the marks. Thanks to
all that help. Yale and CGA brought extra motorboats. Big thanks goes out to
the Connecticut College undergrads and Peter Johns for helping out with race
committee. Connecticut College would like to thank Mitchell College for
allowing us to run the event out of their site.
Sunday September 28,2008
7 Races were sailed in 4-8 knots from the SW. The fog had the sailors postponed
until 1:23PM. The coaches and Peter Johns worked together during the
postponement to view different areas to set the course. Once the fog cleared we
were in the same area that we sailed in on Saturday. Thanks to Yale and CGA for
providing coach boats and thanks to the Camel undergrads that helped with Race
Committee. CONGRATUALTIONS Annie Hager BC, Krysta Rohde CGA, Maggie Shea
Connecticut College, Jane Mackey Yale, Megan Watson Harvard for Qualifying for
the Womens Single-handed National Championship at Cornell on Oct 24-25.
