A long day to get in only 4 races in each division. Stan "The Man" Hyatt flew
up from Florida and Chris Gaffney came back to their alma mater to share RC
duties on a very difficult day on the St. Mary's River. Breezes started from
the NE and were painful for most of the day. A very long A division set
finally ended in a nice Southerly, making way for B to end the day in a light
South breeze of 6 knots. Hopefully the front line with the strong NW will come
in time for tomorrow's racing despite the prediction to come in a touch late to
help us. Good news is that the teams really enjoyed the new facility. Barbara
Herbig, Adrienne Patterson were judging all day while Mattie Farrar came in for
late day gloy in the same role.
