As many of you are aware, there has been a fair amount of confusion regarding entries for our upcoming Keelboat Promo Regatta. After considering all the circumstances, we have accepted the following entries for the event scheduled for 18 & 19 April:
1. USNA 2. Army 3. Penn State 4. Purdue 5. HWS 6. RPI 7. Hamilton 8. Queens 9. UMBC 10. Roger Williams 11. USCGA 12. UMASS Boston Standby 1 Cornell Standby 2 St. Marys Standby 3 NY Maritime I apologize to those teams who were told they had a slot and then got bumped. The apparent problem with the scheduling for this spring's event was confusion over how to properly register. Note that since these are not ICSA sanctioned events, they are open on a first come first served basis registration which must be done directly with the Navy Offshore Sailing office. At this point we have not implemented limitations on number of entries from a given region. We will be hosting a similar fall event 24 & 25 October so please email me with your intent to participate in this as soon as you are comfortable committing.
