The NASS Race Committee managed to complete 4 additional flights to get in
one complete round robin for the 2009 Intrepid Trophy Match Race Regatta at
the Naval Academy in Annapolis. After a 2 hour wind (lack thereof)
postponement, a light seabreeze filled and racing got underway.

When the dust settled, 3 teams finished tied at 9-2. NY Maritime won the
tie breaker having beaten Maine Maritime on Saturday and narrowly beating
Navy today. Navy ended up 2nd and Maine Maritime wound up 3rd.

Many thanks go out to the numerous volunteers who helped make the event a
success including PRO Taran Teague and her race committee crew and Bruce
Cook and his umpire crew.

This year's event will be ISAF rated and all competing skippers will earn
points and a rank in the ISAF World Match Race rankings.
