Hey all, Thanks to a consistent NE breeze, we were able to get 32 total races off on day 1 of the 1st annual Antonia Schuman regatta at MIT. 12 schools competed in 2 fleets of FJs, sailing Modified W/L courses. With intentions of a double round robin, 4 races were sailed per set to expedite racing. Thanks to Jeff Dusek for providing judging on the water and hearing 1 protest resulting in a DSQ.

Courses were modified W/L with an offset and a gate. Many thanks to judge Jeff Dusek for being on the water and hearing one protest which resulted in a DSQ, and thanks to Fran Charles for running 32 races on the Rivah Chuck. Antonia Schuman, MIT '58, was the first woman to win a varsity letter at MIT. She is currently the president of the MIT alumni association.
