Ten teams are on hand at the Naval Academy in Annapolis contesting the
McMillan Cup aboard the Academy's 44'sloops.

After a morning of practice and warms ups in a fresh southerly with
intermittent rain, PRO Wayne Bretsch and his Race Committee team ran four
windward/leeward races in 12-22 knots and surprisingly big waves.

Coast Guard displayed excellent form most of the day nailing three bullets
and would be running away with the regatta if not for a 9th in race 2 for a
total of 12 points. St. Mary's and Navy both posted consistent scores to
finish the day tied for second with 15 each.

Racing continues Sunday with another breezy day being forecast, this time
with sunshine.. Can't wait!

Best regards,

Jahn
