Women's Duplin Team Race @ Tufts

Saturday:
After a slow start, the wind filled in on Mystic Lake around 1:00 PM. One and a half round robins were completed in a mystical, southeast 4-10 knot breeze. The new Jumbo sails made their debut and had the boats moving around the course in even the smallest lulls. Tomorrow the second round robin will be completed and a championship round will follow. The Boston College Eagles have the lead going into tomorrow's racing.

Sunday:
A relatively steady southern 7-12 kt breeze filled upper mystic lake today. The remaining flights of the second round robin were sailed, as well as a third round and a finals round. Several protests were filed but only one was heard resulting in a DSQ for the Harvard/BU team. The final scores are:

Yale 14-4
BC 13-5
Brown 10-8
Tufts 8-10
Harvard/BU 8-9
Bowdoin 0-17

Thanks go out to all the Tufts undergrads that helped this weekend including Greg Herring, Albert Nichols, Reeve Dunne, Midori Tanaka, Alyson Yee, and Jake Evans.
