2010 ICSA National Championship Western Semifinal University of Washington - Sail Sand Point May 1-2, 2010
Saturday started with a postponement on shore as a light southerly switched to the north. A-fleet started racing shortly after noon in a steady 8-10 knots but winds began to die at the start of race 2A and remained light for the remainder of the afternoon. 2 race were finished in A and B-fleet. PRO Jay Renehan and race committee did an excellent job of getting 4 quality races off in tough conditions with only one race abandoned. Courses were windward leeward (4 legs) with a leeward gate a windward offset. Forecasts for tomorrow are more encouraging.
