2010 ICSA National Championship Eastern Semifinal
College of Charleston
May 1-2, 2010

It was an excellent day for racing on the Cooper River with good breeze, air
temps around 80 and sunny skies. We sailed 10 A races and 8 B races. The wind
was shifting between the south and the southwest throughout the day. The wind
velocity started out around 8 knots and built through out the day, maxing out
at around 15-18 knots. We had a strong ebb tide (upwind current) for most of
the day, but minimized general recalls by utilizing a pin boat and the 1-minute
rule. All courses were windward leewards (4 or 5 legs), with offsets and
gates.
