The morning easterly was too light for racing, but too persistent to permit an early seabreeze. After a 4 hour delay, the course was moved into Bayboro Harbor, and 3 A and 3 B races were sailed, all W5, in a light 3-5 knot northeast breeze.
Hawaii held off a strong challenge from Charleston to win the regatta, while USF fell to third.
