College sailors, coaches, alumni, Just a quick reminder that the deadline for submissions for Sailing World¹s How to Survive Freshman Year essay contest is Monday. We¹ve taken a few strong submissions, but more is always better.
You can find more information here, http://www.sailingworld.com/racing/college/announcing-i-sw-i-s-college-essay -contest, or just email me the text. The goal is to provide some advice to incoming first year college sailors who have already picked a school to attend, but haven¹t yet jumped into the college sailing scene. Advice can target regattas, practice, social life, academics, etc. The best essay will be published in the May issue and will earn a $800 editorial fee. Other top submissions will be published online. Best Regards and, if you¹re sailing this weekend, good luck, -Stuart PLEASE NOTE NEW OFFICE PHONE NUMBER: 401-845-4444 -- Stuart Streuli, Senior Editor Sailing World Magazine 55 Hammarlund Way Middletown, RI 02842 ph: 401-845-4444 f: 401-845-5180 m: 401-864-0511 skype: sstreuli71 ________________________________________________ icsa mailing list [email protected] http://www.collegesailing.org/mailman/?listname=icsa Unsubscribe: Send a blank email to [email protected]
