Saturday morning saw light winds from the North with a very strong ebb
that made the sailing conditions challenging. Three flights were sailed
and on the last match in the flight the wind shifted from North to the
South on the second beat. The southerly filled in and varied from SW to
SE through the remainder of the day. Four more flights were sailed in
still a strong ebb that made starting extremely challenging and stage
one of the event is complete.

Tomorrow the top four teams will attempt to sail a double round robin,
conditions permitting as will teams 5-8.

Special thanks to NEISA Umpire Coordinator Kerry Sullivan and the
coaches who umpired the event.
