It isn't nice if the implementation is as broken as the above suggests
(and in my experience Lotus Notes is the worst for mangling messages). Any
guess at a reason based on the status code should be in addition to, not
instead of, the server's human-readable error text. Removing the first
part of a multipart/report message is utterly braindead since it is the
only part of a DSN that can be properly internationalized and therefore
has a chance of being understandable.
