I am using the i386 version.
See, I am able to install Ubuntu into the pen drive.
I am able to boot from it as well.
I am able to run the pre-installed applications also.
But I am not able to install any new software through apt, as it simply does
not appear in the available choices in synaptic. I am able to run update
manager and get the updates, but it is not my aim to get the updates- I just
want to install a few packages. So- how do I get those packages to appear in
the synaptic list?
