if you want to use the LIVE USB on a long term basis it is a good iea to
install it.... as the boot time is quicker and more customisation can be
done. but that is your choice, depending on the availability of space.  for
instance i have installed ubuntu on a 320GB external hard drive and use it
on any computer hardware!
