[ikarus-users] are compiler optimisations linked to code size?

Ciao,

  I am  facing a weird  bug, which goes  away when I  try to
simplify  the code, making  it smaller;  I wonder  if Ikarus
applies some optimisations when the code is "big" and others
when the code is "small".
