The Chennai ilug is running Drupal not mailman. (http://www.ilugc.in) If there is consensus among members I am happy to sponsor servers which are better than what Chennai is hosted in and set it up. If a few people volunteer we can transfer all the content in this group to the website and once the website is functional , can close the group ...( Close adding new content , users, and redirect to the website ). If new website is already being created ..it is good news . I would stay away from building something using custom built software as future updates becomes harder :-)
