first thing is to mount the ntfs partition.right? use these commands
# gedit /etc/fstab then add the following line at the end /dev/sda* /mnt/ntfs1 ntfs-3g silent,umask=0002,utf8=true Please do replace sda* to your device such as sda6, hda5 etc. Thanks Renju Paul -- "Freedom is the only law".
