Thank u everybody for the replies This is for my friends who has booked BSNL broadband. He can avail the rural tariff and also 20 percent discount as a government employee. BSNL broadband is a best solution for him. (He informed that BSNL authorities has stopped supplying modems enquired best modem).
Currently I am using BSNL broadband with the modem in rental basis - which is vmc AN 1020-21- I think the latest and the best one (cost may be around 1600). Is this one available for purchase? my search lead me to the beetle modem ( I think it was the earlier one supplied by bsnl) - it lacks the usb port and another port from that of the vmc modem). I am interested in the points of Gokul das. If its is true, what about other service providers? I was a customer of Asianet Dataline and feeling discomfort, switched over to BSNL At present it is marvellous. (No problems faced till date). And anybody have experience the Wimax from BSNL?
