Common Man - Kilpauk Kandaswamy,

Allow me the liberty of answering your question. I am not sure whether Mr.
Baskar offers the source for free to everyone. If he does, that shows his
generosity.

To follow licence terms of open source software, he just needs to provide
source code to those *who bought his server. *Not to everyone.

I admire Baskar for the persistent efforts his company has been making to
bring Open Source options to educational institutions. As he had pointed
out, he has been doing it for over 5 years.

Efforts by Linux User Groups should be complimented by commercial offers
such as Linuxpert Academy for open source to thrive.

Disclaimer : I have met Baskar only once in a Linux Demo Day and just said
hello. I do not recall any other personal or professional communication with
him.

Best regards,

Ma Sivakumar
