Well, this is probably because it knows people would not need it anyway.
That is the air of confidence that Fedora has in itsefl. It is there for those
who need it anyway. We dont want to force users to work hard to do what
they want to do.

When is Debian scheduled to get something like presto? My friends can do
without 300MB of security updates every week. I know there are talks of
deb-delta, but it is not mainstream yet.

I am not flaming any distro. I just feel every distro has its place and none is
superior. There are places where Archlinux outshines all the rest. The wiki is
one of the best out there. Package management is KISS and kick-ass fast.
There are places where foresight's/rpath's conary  is much better than debs.
Respect each distro for what it does
