Yes you can do that, but it is not persistent.

ifconfig eth0:1 <NEW_IP_ADDRESS>
ifconfig eth0:2 <NEW_IP_ADDRESS>
ifconfig eth0:3 <NEW_IP_ADDRESS>

and so on. :)
