I think it may be the solution, actually what the interviewer has asked is, suppose in my network we have some systems which doesn't have OS installed but are connected to the server machine, from server machine how can he find the hardware address of the client machine which doesn't have any OS installed. I hope the PXE will be the solution what u have suggested, but in server side what command I need to run to get the hardware address of these client machine without going to the client side.
