The proper pronunciation of Linux is well disputed, but to end all arguments here (http://support.dreamscape.com/misc/english.au) is an audio file of Linus himself pronouncing Linux. For the people out there without sound cards (or without the patience to download and run the file) it is basically pronounced LIH-nucks.
