Hi! every one I want to use my tape drive for backing up data. earlier i was using it on windus through parallel port. now i have connected it to a Advansys (ABP940-U/ABP960-U; as shown by the hardware browser)25pin scsi card. Now it not detecting the tape drive. How do i check, i tried to mount /dev/ftape ...no luck.. tape drive is from HP Colorado (Tavran) 2.5 /5 GB.
