There is one AWL book available in market Called Professional Programming in Python. It is in same series as Professional PHP programming. You may notice if you have read PHP.
O'really has a very good book called Programming Python or something , but sad part is, it is not available in India. Best part is python is nicely documented well. You can download documentation from site which include a good tutorial and library reference. You can run a script called pydoc which runs a http server on your machine and you can connect to it to read documentation in the modules itself.
