-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
How about if we have themes for each monthly meeting? The last Meet (December) was geared toward newbies. Perhaps we can have talks for specific segments of users or on specific segments at each Meet. That doesn't mean that you give up your great presentation or idea that doesn't fit into the theme of the next Meet -- exceptions will always be there. However having a theme may help us stay more focused on both the audience and the presentations. Off the top of my head, some ideas for themes for future Meets. I'm sure when we all get together we would be able to come up with relevant topics and also skills in presenting them: - - Linux as an Office desktop - - Gaming in Linux - - Interoperability - - File server and RAID - - Online security - - Databases The talks should be practical, from people who have actually the technologies they are discussing. Comments and feedback please.
