I have the same graphics chip in a machine here. The drivers that are included with most common distributions don't work or are not included at all. X.org's X11 has full support for this chip though (as compared to XFree86). But till such time as X.org is integrated with a distribution, you will either have to get it and compile it yourself or stick with a basic "vesa" driver. Other hardware components should not be a problem at all.
