Telecom Software Professionals- We are looking for people to design and develop firmware and device driver for layer 2 technologies on embedded Network Processor based platform. Key Skills: embedded systems, embedded NPU, Network Processor, C, C++, Layer 2 VPN, VLAN, MPLS, PPP, Ethernet, GFP, LAPS, SONET/SDH, CLI, Networking protocols. The project is to develope System-on-a-chip (SoC) solution to provide layer 2 and layer 3 switching and routing intelligence to OC-12 & OC-48,Ethernet over SONET/SDH products.We are looking for a member with at least 4-6 years of experience to design and develop firmware/device driver API's based on NPF (Network Processor Forum) standard for technologies such as Ethernet bridging, MPLS tunneling & forwarding, IP forwarding and VLAN switching. Linux Tools Development- This profile includes transitioning work from a client facility and bringing to our facility in Pune. This work is cutting edge for this field and will require several patents before the work is done. We are looking for a professional to travel to the client facility in Belgium for 6 months to make the transition of the project work to India. There may or may not be additional travel to other facilities in support of client and client customer activities. The role will require technical expertise as well as significant leadership experience. It is a hands on role. We are only looking at senior people who are versatile in the technology and products that they have worked with. We are looking for a person who has good understanding of the following Linux tools and libraries so that they can be productive on the COPPEN tools. 1.
