Not intrested in starting a flame war, but I ahve been pondering over this question for quiet some time.
I need to decide on whether to use RHEL4 or Debian Sarge on a LAMP server. Few parameters on the choice 1. I am comfortable to equal level with RH and Debian Sarge. So its not a question of Comfort. 2. Security? 3. Bug Fixes? 4. Frequency of updates? The other options is OpenBSD but I still have to go over the apache2.0 -1.3 issue, whether I can live with apache 1.3 or not Please Please, No Flaming I am just asking the gurus on their preference, Since this is a production server, I can't take any chances.
