Hi Guys ,
I am running ubuntu 5.10 on my office laptop , we have a proxy setup
here .

I am facing two issues
      * Evolution setup : Newer version of evolution (2.6) asks for owa
(outlook web access ) url to configure exchange . Since I have a
proxy evolution is unable to find qwa url . I have tried setting
http_proxy and thru gnome proxy applet but nothing works . Has
anybody has figured a way to configure evolution with exchange
        behind a proxy ?
      * IRC Chat: Our proxy and firewall these port , is there free web
based IRC chat service offered on net ?

Rgds,
Gaurav

Thanx Ashish,

I am using the GNOME, and have already tried it, I am using the workstation
through root, when i try to open the XScreenSaver through preference it
gives the following warning :
THe XScreensaver daemon does not seems to be running on display "localhost:
0.0". Launch it now?
on trying to launch it , gives the following error

Th.e xscreensaver daemon did not start up properly.

But as I already mentioned that I am being able to disable the screensaver
by using the following comands:

export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0
xset s off

And the power management option does not seems to work for me.
