I am facing two issues * Evolution setup : Newer version of evolution (2.6) asks for owa (outlook web access ) url to configure exchange . Since I have a proxy evolution is unable to find qwa url . I have tried setting http_proxy and thru gnome proxy applet but nothing works . Has anybody has figured a way to configure evolution with exchange behind a proxy ? * IRC Chat: Our proxy and firewall these port , is there free web based IRC chat service offered on net ? Launch it now? on trying to launch it , gives the following error Th.e xscreensaver daemon did not start up properly. But as I already mentioned that I am being able to disable the screensaver by using the following comands: export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0 xset s off And the power management option does not seems to work for me.
