I've been using a Luminous inverter (1.8 KVA) and had no specific troubles until I neglected checking the batteries for evaporated water. It so happens that all this current passing through the batteries burns the water out due to ohmic heating and could eventually damage the batteries. I am sure you know all that.
Nevertheless the setup was back in operation once the water was added and the batteries recharged. I usually add distilled / ro water to the bank. I also hope we are all aware of the environmental issues with the lead of the lead acid batteries. Among other things, lead causes mental retardation.
