While researching for a version control system for my home directory (I selected Mercurial) I found that some people were concerned about VCS leaving conflict markers in config files potentially causing lots of trouble. But I think if it's single machine/user then conflicts should not occur. I would use git or mercurial for the job. But please do your own test and research before using it on any important machine. -- Manish _______________________________________________ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - February 22-24, 2008 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
