I have a wired internet connection at home and my laptop is using it. I would like my mobile (which supports wi-fi) to use the network connection that my laptop has to save me some money- nice when your laptop is not very mobile and stuck with the network wire, while you can move around the building with the mobile.
so one option is to setup the laptop as an access point that the mobile can use. Raj talked about this sometime back. Are there any docs that people can provide which explains how to set it up in a secure way? I haven't gone beyond "iwconfig eth1 node master". I need DHCP and preferably WPA.
