This did cross my mind while listening to PC (Palaniappan Chidambaram
- not personal computer) during his budget speech.

He did mention taxes on "customised software" too.

Now, how does 12% excise on package software work to be more expensive
than 12.5 (or more as Rahul puts it) service tax on customised
software? Is this not FOSS unfriendly?
